The American Academy of Advertising has awarded $2,700 to the team of Jennifer Ball, Hyojin Kim and Patricia Stout for their proposed project on “The Effects of Corporate Credibility, Endorser Credibility and Brand Credibility on Consumer Responses to Direct to Consumer Advertising.” Ball and Kim are graduate students and Stout is the John P. McGovern Regents Professor in Health and Medical Science Communication. The project will be a two-part study that will assess the effects of pharmaceutical advertising on consumers.
