Energy expert sees global benefit in reducing U.S. energy consumption

A report released last week from the consulting firm, McKinsey and Co., outlined the enormous opportunities for reducing energy use in the United States. "Efficiency and conservation have global benefits," said Michael Webber, an energy expert at The University of Texas at Austin, citing the economic, environmental and security advantages of reducing energy use.
