UT Austin's Tinsley Oden Awarded Prestigious Honda Prize for Ecotechnology Work

The Honda Foundation of Japan has awarded this year's Honda Prize to J. Tinsley Oden, director of the Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences (ICES) at The University of Texas at Austin, for his role in establishing the field of computational mechanics, which enabled the development of computer simulation technology used broadly throughout industry and academia.
