Fall Fundraising Projects Launch on HornRaiser

HornRaiser is the official crowdfunding platform of UT Austin, where UT students and faculty members can raise funds to support their research projects, camps and competitions, and global initiatives.

EVENT: HornRaiser is the official crowdfunding platform of The University of Texas at Austin. From research projects to building underserved communities to attending camps and competitions around the world, UT students and faculty members are changing the world.

WHERE: View the latest projects online at hornraiser.utexas.edu.

WHEN: Fall projects launch Monday, Oct. 31, 3016. Projects remain online for 30 to 45 days.

WHO: Projects are hosted by UT students, faculty members and organizations. Fundraising is open to the UT Austin community and alumni.

Background: Now in its third year, HornRaiser is the official crowdfunding platform of UT Austin, where UT students and faculty members can raise funds to support their research projects, camps and competitions, and global initiatives. Fall projects launched Oct. 31 and will remain active for 30 to 45 days.

HornRaiser is expected to raise $197,010 for these projects, plus an additional $775,000 for the Mary Ann & DeLoss Dodds Legacy Campaign. Our goal is for each project to be funded 100 percent.

The UT Austin community and alumni can view a list of projects and show their support by making a donation at hornraiser.utexas.edu.
