Jeff Treichel Named Interim Executive Director of Continuing and Innovative Education

Jeff D. Treichel has assumed the role of executive director, ad interim, for the Division of Continuing and Innovative Education (CIE) at The University of Texas at Austin. In this position, effective March 1, Treichel provides leadership to all CIE units and departments, in addition to his ongoing role as CIE's chief business officer and compliance officer overseeing all financial and human resource operations. He succeeds the late Linda L. Glessner, who passed away in January after a short illness. Treichel's appointment comes from Steven Leslie, the university's executive vice president and provost.
