Carolyn J. Heinrich Joins LBJ School Faculty

Renowned scholar and researcher Carolyn J. Heinrich has joined the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs faculty as the Sid Richardson Professor in Public Affairs. Heinrich, whose research focuses on social welfare policy, labor force development, public management, performance management and econometric methods for program evaluation, has also assumed leadership of the LBJ School's Center for Health and Social Policy (CHASP).

LBJ School of Public Affairs to Generate First Texas Statewide Measure of Teacher Effectiveness

The Texas Education Agency (TEA) has contracted with The University of Texas at Austin's Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs to develop a comprehensive metric that measures a teacher's effect on student achievement under the direction of the school's Project on Educator Effectiveness and Quality (PEEQ).
