Moncrief Oil International Pledges Gift That Could Total $500 Million for University

Moncrief Oil International, owned and operated by the Richard W. Moncrief family, has pledged a gift to The University of Texas at Austin from the potential proceeds from litigation over the Yuzhno Russkoye gas field in Russia. Depending on the outcome of the litigation, the gift could total as much as $500 million.
