The following is a statement from UT Austin President Bill Powers:

Many of you have read that the president of the University of Oklahoma, David Boren, has expelled two students and cut ties to OU's chapter of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE) fraternity after a racist chant by its members was captured on video. This has renewed questions about our response to an off-campus UT Austin fraternity, Phi Gamma Delta fraternity (FIJIs), that hosted a party where some guests dressed in costumes expressing racial stereotypes.

Brain Specimens were Disposed of by Environmental Workers in 2002

MEDIA ADVISORY: 400 Volunteers to Help 7,300+ Students "Mooov-In" at UT Austin

The University of Texas at Austin will welcome more than 7,300 students from 42 states, 35 countries and five continents as they "Mooov-In" to 14 on-campus residence halls. Nearly 400 faculty members, staffers and student volunteers will be on hand to help the newest generation of Longhorns and their families "Mooov-In." Mooov-In is organized by Housing and Food Service, part of the Division of Student Affairs.
