The Tower at The University of Texas at Austin will shine orange tonight (May 9) in recognition of the Texas baseball team’s Big 12 regular season championship.
The No. 2 baseball team claimed the Big 12 Conference title with a 17-2 victory over Kansas State University Saturday (May 8) in Manhattan, Kan. It was Texas’ second consecutive league crown, the fourth in the last five years and the sixth in the 14-year history of the league.
The Longhorns return to action at UFCU Disch-Falk Field Sunday, May 16 when they host the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs in a doubleheader.
