More than 20 finalists from around the world will convene in Austin in February to compete for up to $50,000 and assorted startup business benefits. After 12 weeks of working with a specially paired industry mentor, each team will present its business idea before a panel of judges and attendees.

Everyone is encouraged to vote in the People’s Choice Award for their favorite new food business finalist – see Facebook the week prior to Showcase Day. Food and drink samples from local businesses such as 512 Brewery, Tiff’s Treats and Snap Kitchen will be on hand.
