UT Fine Arts career adviser wins national award

Pamela Overall Price, student development specialist in the College of Fine Arts at The Univeristy of Texas at Austin, has won the prestigious Annuit Coeptis annual award given by the American College Personnel Association (ACPA). This award is given to only five emerging professionals from across the United States.

Austin area high school students to visit UT Austin campus as part of Black Entertainment Television's Teen Summit

About 350 high school teens will be guests of The University of Texas at Austin on Saturday when Black Entertainment Television (BET) produces a live broadcast of its nationally televised Teen Summit program in conjunction with Vision Tour 98-Freedom Quest. The teens are from Austin, Round Rock, Georgetown, Killeen, Houston and the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
