Sociologist wins Early Career Award

Robert Crosnoe, an associate professor in the Department of Sociology, has won the 2007 Early Career Award from the Society for the Study of Human Development, a multi-disciplinary professional society dedicated to the study of the full span of the human life course.

Robert Crosnoe, an associate professor in the Department of Sociology, has won the 2007 Early Career Award from the Society for the Study of Human Development, a multi-disciplinary professional society dedicated to the study of the full span of the human life course. The award is given periodically to recognize scholars in the early stages of their career who have significantly contributed to the study of human development. Crosnoe’s seminal research on the educational experiences of children and adolescents was lauded.
