AUSTIN, Texas–Dr. Francisco Jose Barnes de Castro, Rector of the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM), and a team of the university’s vice presidents and deans visited The University of Texas at Austin campus on Sept. 3. Barnes met with UT Austin President Larry R. Faulkner and other University officials to discuss the development of closer working relationships on academic programs of mutual interest. A reception was held to welcome the Mexican visitors to the campus.
