Centex College Fair 1998 at UT Austin

The University of Texas at Austin on Oct. 21 will host Centex College Fair 1998, an event that brings representatives from more then 135 colleges, universities and other educational agencies from around the country to meet with area high school students and their parents at the Frank Erwin Special Events Center.

AUSTIN, Texas–The University of Texas at Austin on Oct. 21 will host Centex College Fair 1998, an event that brings representatives from more then 135 colleges, universities and other educational agencies from around the country to meet with area high school students and their parents at the Frank Erwin Special Events Center.

There is no admission fee to the 6-9 p.m. fair. All high school students and their parents from the Austin/San Marcos/Georgetown area are invited to take advantage of this opportunity to meet with recruiters from universities they otherwise might not be able to visit.

Some of the participating schools include Duke University, Baylor University, Rice University, Louisiana State University, the University of Notre Dame, Texas A&M University, Prairie View A&M University, Texas Tech University, Southern Methodist University, The University of Alaska and The University of Texas at Austin. Last year, more than 2,200 attendees visited with recruiters from colleges and universities from Texas and across the nation.
