AUSTIN, Texas—Dr. James L. Hill, vice president for human resources and community relations, was presented an Outstanding Achievement Award in the professional category Thursday evening (March 11) at the Texas Legislative Black Caucus Black Tie Gala. Hill was one of seven outstanding individuals nominated for awards by Texas State Dist. 50 Rep. Dawnna Dukes, D-Austin. The award recognizes Hill’s professionalism and lifetime achievements serving The University of Texas at Austin as well as the Austin community.
