UT Austin Staff Recognition Day celebration today at Erwin Center

The University of Texas at Austin will honor its classified employees and administrative/professional employees with 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, and 45 years of staff service during the 40th Annual Staff Recognition Program. Also to be honored are 30 employees receiving the President’s Excellence Awards, which be accompanied by an award of $1,000 for each of the recipients.

WHAT: The University of Texas at Austin will honor its classified employees and administrative/professional employees with 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, and 45 years of staff service during the 40th Annual Staff Recognition Program. Also to be honored are 30 employees receiving the President’s Excellence Awards, which be accompanied by an award of $1,000 for each of the recipients.

Also, the top of the Tower at UT Austin will be lit orange tonight (May 2) in honor of Staff Recognition Day.

WHEN: 2-4 p.m. today (Wednesday, May 2). The presentation program will be followed by a reception in the same area as the awards program.

WHERE: Frank C. Erwin Jr. Special Events Center in Austin. Parking Lot 108 (south of the Erwin Center) will be reserved for employees and their family members. Attendees may enter through the Red River entrance.
