BACKGROUND: Twenty-five students from two air pollution engineering classes taught by Dr. Richard Corsi of The University of Texas at Austin’s Environmental Engineering Program will present the results of their term projects on two successive evenings. Their 15-minute presentations, which address the sources, characteristics and measurement of air pollution both indoors and outdoor, will cover such well-known and surprising sources as molds, floor materials, bus exhaust fumes, scented candles, French fries and books in environments ranging from a sealed airliner cabin to the wide open spaces.
