AUSTIN, Texas—The University of Texas at Austin will show its victory colors Tuesday (May 7) when the Tower lights are illuminated in honor of the university’s women’s gymnastics team.
The team, a sport club sponsored by the Division of Recreational Sports, earned national championship honors at the National Association of Intercollegiate Gymnastics Conferences meet April 3-7 at The Ohio State University.
In addition to the team championship, Jillian Butt also claimed the gold medal as the top all-around gymnast.
