AUSTIN, TexasThe Tower of The University of Texas at Austin will be illuminated bright orange intermittently from 9:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. tonight (Wednesday, Sept. 1) for additional filming of aerial scenes of the main campus for a production to be used in promoting the university.
The filming tonight, which will be with a camera mounted on the nose of a helicopter, is a continuation of an aerial filming project that also involved having orange lights on the Tower late last week. The strategic planning and positioning firm GSDandM and the university’s Office of Public Affairs are coordinating the production.
