AUSTIN, Texas—The University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business is starting an MBA program in Houston to begin in August 2005.

The Texas MBA at Houston will be a two-year, part-time MBA conducted on alternating weekends. The program, designed to allow candidates to study and work at the same time, seeks to attract professionals with varied backgrounds and work experiences. Classes will take place at The Houstonian, within an 18-acre campus compound near Memorial Park.
