AUSTIN, Texas—Four faculty members from The University of Texas at Austin have been selected to receive Dads’ Association Centennial Teaching Fellowships for the 2005 fall semester.
The fellowships provide honorariums of $2,500 for each of the recipients, including:
- Dr. Brian A. Bremen, Ph.D., associate professor in the Department of English, College of Liberal Arts
- Dr. John A. Fortunato, Ph.D., assistant professor in the Department of Advertising, College of Communication
- Dr. Gary A. Hallock, professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, College of Engineering
- Dr. K. Sata Sathasivan, Ph.D., senior lecturer in the School of Biological Sciences, College of Natural Sciences
The fellowships recognize the faculty members’ teaching excellence and commitment, said Dr. Sheldon Ekland-Olson, executive vice president and provost. He said they also acknowledge the many contributions these faculty members have made to the undergraduate experience for students at the university.
