AUSTIN, Texas—The Creative Research Laboratory, an art exhibition site open to the community to see contemporary art by University of Texas Art and Art History students, faculty, and alumni, has announced its fall exhibition schedule.
The Creative Research Laboratory (CRL), is located at 2832 E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Gallery hours are Tuesday to Saturday, noon-5 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.

Work by alumni of the Department of Art and Art History from across the United States, including local favorites Leona Scull-Hons, Jennifer Chenoweth, Candace Briceno and Carolyn Porter.

Intersections
Opening reception: Saturday, Nov. 4, 6-9 p.m.
At what moment do we see an intersection between a mentor and his or her apprentice? Intersections focuses on this crossover by examining work of two alumni from the Department and Art and Art History paired with their faculty mentors.

At Play…An Art Extravaganza
Opening Reception: Saturday, Dec. 9, time TBA
Working in all medias and across disciplines, faculty, community and students will create a work of art based on the act of play. This week-long extravaganza will include an outdoor screening of works from the Department of Art and Art History’s Transmedia program and the Department of Radio-Television-Film, and Glee, an undergraduate art exhibition.
