AUSTIN, Texas—Charles Leslie, former associate director for the Performing Arts Center (PAC) at The University of Texas at Austin, has been appointed interim director of the PAC, effective immediately.
Pebbles Wadsworth, former director of the PAC, announced her plans to retire in January 2008 last spring. She will stay on as consulting director during this transition as Bass Concert Hall undergoes a renovation.
“Charles has been my right hand over the past five years,” says Wadsworth. “He is a most able administrator who can carry on the vision for the PAC.”
Leslie has been the associate director of the PAC since 2003, and was assistant director and production manager prior to that appointment.
