Expert named to professorship

Eun-Ok Im, an internationally known expert in cross-cultural women’s health issues, has been named to The La Quinta Motor Inns, Inc. Centennial Professorship in Nursing at the School of Nursing. Im has been a faculty member in the School of Nursing since 2002 and is a fellow of the American Academy of Nursing. Her contributions to nursing include a research program that adopts Internet and computer technologies to eliminate gender and ethnic disparities in the management of cancer pain and menopausal symptoms.
