Professor earns Cottrell Award

Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry Assistant Professor Christopher Bielawski has been named a 2007 Cottrell Scholar, one of 10 scientists to earn the award this year for excellence in teaching and research. In addition to the title, the honor includes a monetary grant intended to further his teaching and research activities in the area of macromolecular chemistry. The Cottrell Scholar Awards are among the most prestigious for beginning faculty in the sciences.
