Aerospace engineer named associate fellow

Maruthi R. Akella, an aerospace engineering assistant professor, has been named an associate fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics for his outstanding contributions to aerospace attitude dynamics, control theory and networked systems.
