Barbara Jordan visiting prof. named

Former U.S. Representative and 2006 U.S. Senate candidate Harold Ford Jr., has been appointed the inaugural Barbara Jordan Visiting Professor at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs.

Former U.S. Representative and 2006 U.S. Senate candidate Harold Ford Jr., has been appointed the inaugural Barbara Jordan Visiting Professor at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs. Ford, a Democrat from Tennessee, will be the keynote speaker for the 12th annual Barbara Jordan Forum on Public Policy in February 2008. As visiting professor, the former four-term congressman will conduct classes for the LBJ School’s American Politics and Policy Seminars, present a public lecture and participate in dialogues on prominent public issues.
