Community and Regional Planning doctoral candidate Rosie Tighe has been awarded a $25,000 Doctoral Dissertation Research Grant by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for her project, “Opposition to Affordable Housing: How Perceptions of Race and Poverty Influence Views.” The program empowers scholars to develop and conduct applied research on policy-relevant housing and urban development issues.
