The university’s student chapter of the National Pharmaceutical Association won the Chauncey I. Cooper Excellence Award, the highest honor a chapter can receive, at the association’s annual convention. The award is presented to the best overall chapter from previous the school year. Students Mya Dao and Candice Chinaka also won second place in the clinical skills/patient counseling competition.
