Charles Logan, director of the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center, has been elected to The National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) Aquatics Branch Board of Directors. Logan became the Texas Swimming Center’s director in 2005, and has worked in public service for more than 20 years with the American Red Cross and Parks and Recreation Aquatics in the state of Texas. The National Recreation and Park Association is a national not-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing park, recreation and conservation efforts that enhance quality of life for all people. Through its network of more than 20,000 recreation and park professionals and citizens, NRPA encourages the promotion of healthy lifestyles, recreation initiatives, and conservation of natural and cultural resources.
