Robert O. (Bill) Williams III, professor of pharmaceutics, has been elected to the College of Fellows of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering. Williams was selected for his contributions to medical and biological engineering, particularly for his pioneering studies of novel methods of microparticle formulations for drug delivery. The College of Fellows consists of 1,100 individuals in academia, industry and government with no more than 15 of them being from the pharmaceutical sciences.
