Dustin Deas, business honors and finance senior, received the Texas Parents’ Association Outstanding Student Award at an Oct. 26 ceremony. The award was established in 1951 to recognize student leadership on campus and is given to two students each year. Deas has been involved in the Longhorn Band, Tejas Club, Texas Cowboys and the President’s Council.
