The Texas Exes have named the 2008 recipients of the Outstanding Young Texas Ex Award, who will be honored at a ceremony on May 17. The honorees are: Christina Joy Allen, coordinator for grant development and research at La Marque Independent School District; Michael G. Appelman, a partner in Cantey Hanger, LLP; Timothy Price Crain II, navigation and control system manager for Orion Orbit Guidance; and Betty Nguyen, CNN anchor and journalist.
