Engineer selected for University of Nebraska-Lincoln event

James O. Jirsa, a civil engineering professor, was one of four alumni selected to participate in “Master’s Week” at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for his work as a leading applications-oriented researcher in the behavior and design of reinforced concrete structures.

James O. Jirsa, a civil engineering professor, was one of four alumni selected to participate in “Master’s Week” at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for his work as a leading applications-oriented researcher in the behavior and design of reinforced concrete structures. Since 1964, the University of Nebraska has designated “master” alumni to return to campus for a week to interact with students and university officials. Jirsa advised students on building successful careers and updated faculty on developments in his field.
