Patrick Davis has been promoted to senior associate dean of the College of Pharmacy. Davis has served as associate dean of the college since 1993. The new job title reflects Davis’ senior role in the administration of college programs and marks the first time the college has made an appointment at the senior associate dean level, according to M. Lynn Crismon, dean of the college. Davis, who joined the college faculty in 1978, is a professor in the college’s Medicinal Chemistry Division. He is a member of the university’s Academy of Distinguished Teachers and has won numerous recognitions for his teaching prowess.
