CNN will begin accepting requests for press credentials for the Democratic presidential primary debate to be held on Thursday, Feb. 21 at The University of Texas at Austin. The debate is hosted by the University Democrats, a registered student organization, and is presented by the Lyndon B. Johnson Foundation on behalf of the LBJ School of Public Affairs and the LBJ Library, CNN and Univision Communications, Inc. The debate will include questions from both CNN and Univision journalists and will be moderated by a CNN anchor.
The program will air live on CNN and on CNN International from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (ET)/7p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (CT) and will air in Spanish at 11:30 p.m. (ET)/10:30 p.m. (CT) on the Univision Network, on Univision.com and on RadioCadena, Univision’s AM radio network. It will also stream live on CNN.com and will later be available on demand on both Univision.com and CNN.com. It will also re-air on CNN and CNN en Español.
Credentials: Journalists interested in obtaining a press credential for the press filing center should send the following information to TexasDebate@CNN.com. You must request a credential for this debate even if you have attended a previous CNN or Univision debate.

Media will be required to present photo identification and a company ID upon check-in at the press filing center. The credential will grant the journalist access to the filing center and the Spin Room, not the debate hall.
NOTE: Deadline for a press credential is Monday, Feb. 18.

WiFi Internet Service: CNN and Univision will provide free wireless Internet to all media.
The press filing center for the Democratic debate will be open to journalists beginning at 10 a.m. (CT) on the day of the debate. There will be monitors in the filing center for viewing. There will also be video and audio mult boxes available on a first-come, first-serve basis. An advisory with detailed logistical information, including the exact locations of credential pick-up, the press filing center and the Spin Room, is forthcoming.
As previously announced, all 2008 CNN debate footage will be available without restriction upon the conclusion of each debate. Satellite coordinates for downlinking will be provided at a later date. Please be aware that CNN does not provide tapes or DVDs of its programs.
