Linguistic professors earn $79,000 NSF grant

Department of Linguistics Assistant Professors Jason Baldridge and Katrin Erk have earned a $79,000 grant from the National Science Foundation through the Documenting Endangered Languages program for their project “Reducing Annotation Effort in the Documentation of Endangered Languages Using Machine Learning and Active Learning.”
