Background: “Menopause:The Musical®” was written by Jeanie Linders and has been seen by more than nine million people in 12 countries since it debuted in Orlando, Fla., in 2001. It tells the story of four very different women fighting at a lingerie sale with nothing in common but a black lace bra, hot flashes, memory loss, mood swings, wrinkles, night sweats, eating binges and more! The show features 26 re-lyricized tunes from the 1960s, ’70s and ’80s and culminates with a salute to women who are experiencing “the change.”
