Professor named Materials Research Society Fellow

Nicholas Peppas, biomedical engineering, chemical engineering and pharmaceutics professor, has been elected to the inaugural class of Materials Research Society Fellows for pioneering contributions to the field of biomaterials and especially for the development of hydrogels as biomaterials. The society honors members distinguished for their contributions to the advancement of materials research worldwide.
