Ken Lawson, associate professor of pharmacy administration, has been named a fellow of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA). He was one of seven who were elected fellows from APhA’s Academy of Pharmaceutical Research and Science. Lawson, who holds the Mannino Fellowship in pharmacy, teaches courses in health care systems in the professional degree program. In the graduate program, his courses focus on managed health care systems and data analysis. His research activities focus on factors affecting the use and costs of prescription medications and other health care services. He also is involved in research evaluating educational interventions.
