Child Development Center teacher earns award

Child Development Center teacher Edna Hayes has received the Sallie Beth Moore Award from the Austin Association for the Education of Young Children. This is the second year in a row that a Child Development Center teacher has won this award. The award singles Hayes out as an example for teachers across Austin and recognizes her level of involvement with children as well as her excellence as an early childhood educator. Hayes has taught at the center for more than 10 years.
