Event: The University of Texas at Austin Department of Theatre and Dance presents Steven Dietz’s award-winning play for young audiences, “Still Life with Iris.”

When: Nov. 5, 6 and 7 at 8 p.m., and Nov. 9 at 2 p.m.

Background: “Still Life with Iris” was written by Theatre and Dance faculty member and award-winning playwright Steven Dietz. The script engages audiences of all ages and was the first play written for young audiences to receive the Kennedy Center’s prestigious Fund for New American Plays Award. The story chronicles a young girl’s quest to regain her memory, her past and her home.
