Event: The Lozano Long Institute of Latin American Studies (LLILAS) in the College of Liberal Arts will host the symposium “Shared Visions for Cuba-U.S. Relations” at The University of Texas at Austin.

Background: The two-day symposium brings scholars, policy makers and industry professionals together to explore the future of Cuba-U.S. relations under President Barack Obama. Presentation topics include trade relations, technology, tourism, energy policy, economic development and educational exchanges.
