The Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC) and the McCombs School of Business received $230,000 from Chevron Corp. to train the next generation of scientists and researchers using advanced computing technologies and state-of-the-art laboratories for breakthrough science. Chevron is donating $130,000 to TACC this year, with additional funding to follow during the next two years. The McCombs School will use $100,000 to purchase server hardware and renovate the school’s connectivity lab.
