The Martin Luther King Jr. Day march and celebration took place Monday, Jan. 18. The celebration started with a rally at the King statue on the east mall of The University of Texas at Austin. President William Powers Jr., along with Student Government President Liam O’Rourke, welcomed the community before the march, which finished at Huston-Tillotson University.
