The Tower at The University of Texas at Austin will shine orange tonight (May 3) in recognition of the Texas rowing team’s Big 12 Rowing Championship. This marks the team’s second straight conference title after capturing the previous seven Big 12 Invitational crowns.
Rowing becomes the fifth Longhorn program during the 2009-10 athletics season to capture a Big 12 Conference championship, joining volleyball, football, men’s swimming and diving and men’s tennis.
