Excelencia in Education president lauds Intellectual Entrepreneurship program

Sarita E. Brown, president of Excelencia in Education, lauds the educational impact of the university’s Intellectual Entrepreneurship initiative.

Sarita E. Brown, president of Excelencia in Education, lauds the educational impact of the Intellectual Entrepreneurship (IE) initiative in the Division of Diversity and Community Engagement at The University of Texas at Austin. Excelencia in Education is a Washington, D.C.-based education policy think tank focused on accelerating higher education success for Latino students.

Brown notes the IE program’s particular success with first generation and underrepresented students by engaging their passions and desire to contribute to the community.
