The University of Texas at Austin will host the 17th annual “Longhorn Halloween” from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 31, at the Frank Erwin Center.
The free event, sponsored by the Office of the President, provides a safe environment for children of the university’s faculty, staff and students to celebrate Halloween.
The program features activities created by campus groups and student organizations such as a haunted house, face painting, fortune telling, games, a performance stage, a chemistry circus and safety programs that will include a look at a fire engine and a police car. Last year more than 2,500 children attended Longhorn Halloween, which is supported by University Federal Credit Union.
