Background: The conference will educate the public and the university community on the issue of sexual harassment with three panel discussions: Legal and Policy Perspectives: Federal Law and UT Policy; The Interconnections between Race, Gender and Sexual Harassment; and The Gender Equity Report: Two Years Later. The keynote speech will be given by Donna Wilkerson and Cathy McBroom, who testified against their boss, Galveston Federal Judge Samuel Kent, for sexual harassment and assault, resulting in his impeachment and incarceration in federal prison.
