BACKGROUND: Surgeon General of the United States Dr. Vivek H. Murthy will present “The Path to Prevention: A Dialogue with the Surgeon General of the United States.” The speech will be moderated by Jay Bernhardt, dean of the Moody College of Communication and founding director of the Center for Health Communication.
The event is co-sponsored by the Dell Medical School, the College of Pharmacy, the School of Nursing, the School of Social Work, the College of Education-Department of Kinesiology and Health Education, the Michael & Susan Dell Center for Healthy Living at the UTHealth School of Public Health, and Healthcare@McCombs.
